Avengers of The Fellowship

We're just hear to drink beer and kill Goblins...
& we're all out of beer.

The party explored deeper into the Cragmaw cave when suddenly Thia appeared to assist. They then ventured into the final parts of the cave where they met a goblin named Yeemik who they allowed to leave in exchange for releasing Sildar.

They returned to the Stonehill Inn where they washed the faeces off themselves and spent the night recuperating.

The group returned to the Lionshield Coster where Linene payed them 50 gold.

Exploring Cragmaw Cave
Sewrage,

The gang noticed Thia had not come down for breakfast. Investigating they found a note left on her bedside locker.

Elmer Barthen pleaded with the gang to rescue Gundren, and lifted the ban on the party.

When they left the tavern, they notice a woman observing them. Thoraduul went to investigate but the woman had seemingly disappeared. Shoran met with a small child named Carp Alderleaf who showed a lot of interest in the gang.

The gang visited Daran Edermath in his Orchard. They also met Linene Graywind from The Lionshield Coster who told them several of her shipments had gone missing and offered a reward if the players could recover them.

Reaching Cragmaw Cave the gang defeated the goblin sentries and their pet wolves, and were washed away by a water trap the goblins had left for them. (Both Traps Released).

Eventually climbing up a 30ft latrine covered in fecal matter. The gang were faced down by Klarg the Bugbear and his pet wolf Ripper. A fierce battle ensued nearly besting our party but some quick blade work by the halfling rogue brought Klarg down, with his pet wolf Ripper falling to Krill’s Longsword soon after.

Looting the room the party found treasure in a chest along with many supplies bearing the brand of the Lionshield Coster.

*One Goblin escaped the room and is warning the others that Klarg was killed and in 4 turns will warn Yeemik of the intruders.

Getting into Trouble.
DM Error: Party should have travelled 4 days

Neverwinter

The town met with the Dwarf Gundren Rockseeker and his travelling companion Sildar Hallwinter. They stayed the night in The Stein And Wineskinn before setting off South on the High Road towards Phandalin.

The Road to Phandalin

Uneventful. On the road to Phandalin Alvo & Shoran opened one of Gundren’s crates. Shoran stole a crowbar and Alvo stole 50ft of rope. None of the other PCs noticed the crates had been tampered with.

Long Rest

On the second day the party mad there way onto the Triboar trail but before long they were caught in a Goblin Ambush. They felled 2 goblins but the 3rd escaped.

Long Rest
27th Alturiak

On the third day the party met a poor peasant out looking for truffles in the woods near Phandalin. The party gave him 2 gold coins and a day’s rations. He gave them thanks, warned them about the Redbrands and that his name was Aefed

Phandalin

Barthen’s Provisions
Alvo knocked a bunch of goods over in an attempt at making a distraction while Shoran tried to sneak into the back but he was caught. Krill dragged the duo out of the shop before the guards were called. Elmer Barthen shouted after the group telling them that they were barred.

(In reality only Alvo & Shoran are barred. But Elmer will watch the other party members very carefully should they return.)

Stonehill Inn

The characters went to the Stonehill Inn where Thoraduul, Thia & Krill rented rooms for the night while Shoran and Alvo got drunk. Over the course of the evening the party members were able to garner several bits of information from the locals.
*Elmar Barthen has not heard from Gundren, which is unusual as he was meant to arrive two days prior.
*Elsa, a barmaid at the Stonehill Inn informed you that Gundren Rockseeker did have a room reserved under Sildar Hallwinter’s name, but neither of them have shown.
*Sister Garaele, who oversees the Shrine of Luck, recently left town for a few days, then returned wounded and exhausted."
*Daran Edermath, the orchard keeper, is a former adventurer.
Orc raiders have been seen on the east end of Triboar Trail. Harbin Wester ,the town master is looking for someone to run them off

Shoran and Alvo fell asleep in the bar and were dragged out to the outhouse to sleep for the night. Krill woke the pair up by dumping them into a horse trough.

Welcome to your campaign!
A blog for your campaign

Wondering how to get started? Here are a few tips:

1. Invite your players

Invite them with either their email address or their Obsidian Portal username.

2. Edit your home page

Make a few changes to the home page and give people an idea of what your campaign is about. That will let people know you’re serious and not just playing with the system.

3. Choose a theme

If you want to set a specific mood for your campaign, we have several backgrounds to choose from. Accentuate it by creating a top banner image.

4. Create some NPCs

Characters form the core of every campaign, so take a few minutes to list out the major NPCs in your campaign.

A quick tip: The “+” icon in the top right of every section is how to add a new item, whether it’s a new character or adventure log post, or anything else.

5. Write your first Adventure Log post

The adventure log is where you list the sessions and adventures your party has been on, but for now, we suggest doing a very light “story so far” post. Just give a brief overview of what the party has done up to this point. After each future session, create a new post detailing that night’s adventures.

One final tip: Don’t stress about making your Obsidian Portal campaign look perfect. Instead, just make it work for you and your group. If everyone is having fun, then you’re using Obsidian Portal exactly as it was designed, even if your adventure log isn’t always up to date or your characters don’t all have portrait pictures.

That’s it! The rest is up to your and your players.
